In 2008 3Di carried out an appraisal of AstraZeneca's bulk drug manufacturing facility in Macclesfield to assess whether any of the surplus assets could be salvaged. Following the successful 2 day appraisal and valuation 3Di were asked to prepare a marketing and sales programme for the surplus assets.
In 2009 AstraZeneca instructed 3Di to begin marketing the assets prior to ending of the production at the facility. The assets include a large quantity of hastelloy and stainless steel filter dryers, hastelloy and glass lined reactors, hastelloy charging booths, Alpine milling plants, Hosoakawa jet mill plants and much more.
